Principal's Message

Welcome to Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmacy, Dalewal which was established in the year 2007. The institute has a glorious standing of 17 years and continues to evolve as the most reputed Pharmacy College in Punjab.

The college is established under the aegis of great visionary Er. Parmjit Singh (Hon’ble Chairman, Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmacy) who cherished the dream of making this college a centre of excellence in pharmacy education and research. The college is duly approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and offers D. Pharm. (affiliated with Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh) and B. Pharm. & M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) courses affiliated with IKG Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala.

The college has excellent infrastructure facilities with a great research atmosphere and highly qualified and dedicated faculty & staff, who are committed to provide an outstanding educational experience to the students. In addition to academics, we encourage our students to engage in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, helping them develop a holistic personality. With the great support by Er. Prabhjit Singh (Hon’ble Managing Director, SGNDET), we regularly conduct guest lectures, industrial visits and workshops from professional experts of the academia and pharmaceutical industry, who keep the students updated with the current technologies.

I believe that any student of our institute will never face any difficulty to get employment as well as the opportunity for higher studies. In the field of pharmacy diverse options are available for graduated students. A pharmacy graduate can make their career in Government sectors as pharmacist, drug control officer, drug analyst, etc. as well as in pharmaceutical industry as officer in production, quality control and quality assurance. In last few years role of pharmacist and job opportunities have been expanded a lot. The new areas are now opened for pharmacy students as regulatory affairs, drug design, clinical trials, data management, pharmacovigilance, pharmacogenomics, bioinformatics and many more.
